Mix together a few ingredients, spread it on some chicken breasts, pop it in the oven, and you've got yourself a quick and easy chicken recipe that not only tastes amazing, but looks great too!

The beauty of this recipe is you can easily test different variations: replace the "Old Bay" with your favorite spice and add salt and pepper to taste! Olive oil ratio should remain intact for best results.

    Rating: 5 out of 5 (1 ratings)

    • Prep Time: 5 minutes
    • Cook Time: 35 minutes
    • Serves: 2 people

    Ingredients:

    • 2 - Split Chicken Breasts, Bone-in
    • 4 Teaspoons - Olive Oil
    • 2 Teaspoons - Old Bay
    • 1/2 Teaspoon - Salt
    • 1/2 Teaspoon - Pepper

    Directions:

    • Preheat oven to 450 degrees
    • Mix olive oil, old bay, salt, and pepper in small bowl.
    • Lift up chicken skin and evenly spread 1 teaspoon (per breast) of mixture underneath
    • Spread remaining mixture on top of skin and spread evenly
    • Place in oven (foiled baking sheet) on middle rack and let cook for 35 minutes

    Additional Notes & Special Instructions:

For healthier results, peel skin off chicken and do not eat. I still recommend you cook with the skin on because it provides flavor and browns brilliantly.

Hot sauce and garlic are both tasty ingredients worth trying in the mix! Let me know what ingredients you like best so I can try them too... but I think the key here is to KEEP IT SIMPLE! That's the beauty of this recipe.

This looks tastey - It is only one ingredient more than what I do on the grill, I shall try it! (on the grill)
