Ingredients:
1/2 Cup unsalted butter, softened (1 stick)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
-Heat oven to 325 degrees
-With nonstick cooking spray, coat a 9 inch square pan. Set aside.
-Beat butter and 1 cup sugar until light & fluffy.
-Beat in eggs, one at a time.
-Stir in sour cream and vanilla.
-In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.Stir into batter until smooth.
-Spoon half of the batter into pan.
-Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nuts in a small bowl. Sprinkle 2/3 of this mixture over batter.
-Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with rest of cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
This is delicious when served warm!!
